Do I Understand This Correctly?

Let’s see if I understand this latest report correctly.
Our government spends billions of dollars on new computer hardware and software to “save” money
conducting the 2010 census.
After spending these billions, they can’t get it to work! I know…imagine that! Something that the federal
government does won’t work. The fact of the matter is, NOTHING the federal government does, EVER
works! (The only possible exception being the military – but the politicians are doing their best to screw that
up, too!)
This utter bullshit comes from the very same people who, with straight faces, tell us that the only way of
getting out of debt is by spending MORE money!? You don’t need anything more than a third-grade education
to KNOW what tripe this is.
Can you name one program that has been efficiently and effectively run on the estimates cited by these mental
midgets? Social security? Medicare? FEMA? How about the “war” on poverty? Department of
Education? EPA? Maybe it’s the “war” on drugs? No? Well, there’s always the productive welfare
programs, right?
What the hell is happening here!? Isn’t there anyone in Washington with a lick of common sense?
