How Dumb Do They Think We Are?

March, 2010
Al Gore must think the world is populated with idiots.   The self-appointed poster child for global warming thinks he can
have it ALL ways.

If there’s a drought, it’s because of global warming.   When there’s a hurricane, it’s because of global warming.   NO
hurricanes?   Global warming.   Heavy snowstorms or blizzards in DALLAS?   You guessed it - global warming.   Even
the latest round of rainy and windy weather in the Northeast United States, is more of Gore’s “evidence” of global
warming.

In a March 15th conference call with fellow con-artists and warming alarmists, Gore told supporters that severe weather
in certain regions of the country could be attributed to carbon in the atmosphere – including the recent rash of rainy
weather.   “[T]he odds have shifted toward much larger downpours,” Gore said. “And we have seen that happen in the
Northeast, we’ve seen it happen in the Northwest – in both of those regions are among those that scientists have
predicted for a long time would begin to experience much larger downpours.”

Gore’s answer?   Revamp the American economy to “clean renewable energy” – a commodity that has yet to produce
a viable, sustainable, dependable supply of power in any amounts approaching those we need.

Gore has consistently opposed opening up parcels to offshore drilling of the U.S. continental shelf while
acknowledging the national security issues raised by the need for fossil fuels, and is steadfastly against nuclear power
plants.    Both of these well-proven options would solve our energy issues for centuries, but they’re somehow
“inconvenient” for Gore and his hoard.

These latest remarks are consistent with the liberal media’s view of the issue. Journalists have repeatedly preferred
the alarmist view on the climate over any opposition even when the weather is inconveniently different than predicted.

You can’t have it both ways, Al.   We’re not that dumb.
