Reuters reported yesterday that the White House plans to ask Congress by the end of the week for an increase in the
government's debt ceiling to allow the United States to pay its bills on time. Bills like Social Security payments and
interest payments. So we need to borrow money to pay INTEREST on money we already borrowed. Does anybody
else have a problem with that?
President Obummer is expected to ask for authority to increase the borrowing limit by $1.2 trillion. In truth,
Obummer is only going to tell Congress that he needs more. The additional borrowing was part of the spending
authority negotiated between Congress and the White House this past summer, which called for raising the debt
ceiling by $2.1 trillion so the country could get to 2013. The last time I looked at a calendar, it wasn’t even 2012 yet.
So, these guys have blown it all, already? Raise your hand if you think this next trillion dollar debt increase will even
last into 2013.
Why doesn’t Obummer just ask for a gazillion dollars so he won’t ever need to ask again? To President Obummer
and liberal Democrats, it doesn’t matter. They need the additional funds to buy more votes by handing out more
goodies to the half of the population that pays no income tax.
Conservatives don’t want the credit card limit increased (just so Obummer and his Liberal cohorts can max it out
again) so they’d better get ready to be blamed for everything - again. The Tea Party gets the blame for everything from
Congressional gridlock to the deaths of those without health insurance because they espouse governmental
accountability and fiscal sanity. Obummer, Pelosi and Reid cry foul each time those representatives demand cuts or
limits on spending.
Liberals and their slobbering media lap dogs ridicule and excoriate every responsible, sane proposal set forth by
conservatives as ‘fanatical, driven by corporate greed and dangerous to some dependent segment of society’.
Obummer’s approval ratings have risen because of that meaningless two-month pittance of a very temporary tax
holiday that he and other liberal idiots were screaming about! (By the way, that used to be called Social Security
withholding. So it wasn’t a tax “cut”, it was just a reduced contribution into retirement accounts.)
If our credit rating gets lowered again, get ready for the Obummer and the Democrats to blame that on the Tea Party,
or the Republicans, or the Tsunami, or Bush. After all, it was their crazy spending that used up the last credit
increase, right? It certainly wasn’t the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives (up to last year), and it
certainly wasn’t the Democrat-controlled Senate that tabled every reduction bill the newly-elected Republican House
sent it this year.
It’s like instant replay. GOP conservatives in the House will try to say NO but will be attacked by the Democrats and,
with the help of the liberal MSM, called “obstructionists” and portrayed as wanting to push Granny over the cliff in a
wheelchair.
But, it’s Obummer that is asking for the money! And we’re supposed to blame Congress??? So, when the GOP in
the House TRIES to curb the spending they can be vilified in the press as “extremists” or “obstructionists”?
It was Obummer who said he would reduce the debt when he became president! What did he do? He quadrupled it!
It was Obummer that created a bi-partisan commission to find ways to curb the out of control spending and who then
completely ignored its findings.
It was Obummer who spent $800 BILLION on the Porkulus that did nothing to create jobs but made a lot of big
campaign contributors rich! (Remember all those “shovel ready” jobs that were promised? Well, we need shovels
all right - to remove all of the Bullshit piled up around the White House.)
Obummer can take a $4 million vacation to Hawaii, Reid can spend taxpayer dollars on Cowboy poetry festivals,
Pelosi can spend $10,000 per night at a resort in Hawaii - and they can still ask for trillions MORE of our tax money?!
Does anyone think the media will ever ask Pelosi, Reid, or Obummer about any of this?

stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and
grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”
Guess who said that? It was Obummer himself when George W. was asking for an increase in the debt limit! There’
s the perfect example of liberal “do as I say, not as I do” idealogy.
I was taught that you never give money to an alcoholic because he’ll just buy more alcohol. The same goes for a drug
addict. He’ll just go out and buy more drugs.
So, what do we do with a government that has a spending problem? Well, according to liberals, we just give it a raise
in the debt ceiling so it can spend us deeper into bankruptcy.
