No Apologies Needed

November, 2009

I may not necessarily like President Obama, but at least I respected him as President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces.
Please note the past tense in the previous sentence.  After his frequent stops on the “Apology Tour 2009” I am now ashamed of him.   President Obama
needs to stay off TV.   He needs to stop worrying about bringing the Olympics to Chicago and tackle the highest unemployment rate in years.   He needs to
cancel future appearances on the Letterman show and deal with nuclear weapons in the hands of psychotics in North Korea and Iran.   He needs to tell his
wife to stop talking about how “proud” she wasn’t and give our military the green light for victory in Afghanistan and Iraq.   But most of all….he needs to stop
apologizing for America!

Talk is cheap.   If there are any apologies needed, it’s the rest of the world that needs to apologize to America for getting us involved in crap THEY'VE started
and couldn't finish!   What American “arrogance” do we need to apologize for?   Which “interference” does America need to say “sorry about that”?   Why –and to
whom- should America beg for forgiveness?

368 “typical” Americans.                                                        4,402 proud Americans.                                        7,992 arrogant Americans.

Lorraine, France.                                                                        Luxembourg , Luxembourg .                                Meuse-Argonne.

8,301 “high and mighty” Americans.                                                9,387 stuck-up Americans.   (Really sorry we “butted-in” to your business here.)

Oise-Aisne, France.                                                                Rhone, France.                                                        Sicily, Italy.
6,012 patronizing Americans.                                               861 supercilious Americans.                                7,861 pretentious Americans.

Somme, France.                                                                        St. Mihiel, France.                                                Suresnes, France.
1,844 pompous Americans.                                                    4,153 self-centered Americans.                       1,541 narcissistic Americans.

Mr. President:   The real truth is that America doesn’t need to apologize to anyone for anything!   The entire world should be constantly reminded of our
sacrifices. If I added correctly the count is 104,366 dead.   We the people, shouldn’t have to watch an American elected leader apologize to Europe and the
Middle East for our country’s “arrogance”!

My one question for you, Mr. President, is:   How many Frenchmen, Dutchmen, Italians, Belgians, British, Phillipinos, Koreans, Pakistanis, Iraqis and others are
buried on
our soil for defending US against OUR enemies?

Don’t mistake your egotism and arrogance with leadership.

WE DON'T ASK FOR PRAISE . . . BUT WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE !!
